Raisthorpe Flyers can provide numerous different types of days offering varied itineraries tailored to suit your requirements.
Bespoke days are arranged around your needs whilst corporate days can involve a multitude of activities, from clay pigeon shooting to quad biking to off road driving to cocktail making.
The majority of our days are simulated game days for 16 guns, although we are pleased to offer days for groups of 4 to 12 guns which can be arranged for a morning, afternoon or evening.
Please see below a sample Itinerary of a simulated day for 16 guns. Our days for smaller groups follow the same format.
Guns meet a 9.15am in our custom built shooting lodge for coffee and bacon sandwiches and a safety briefing/brief of the format of the day.
Guns depart the lodge at 10.00am to go to the first drive. Guns shoot in pairs, one gun loads while the other shoots. The drive lasts for approximately 10 minutes before guns swap roles. We shoot the drive twice and the line of guns rotate as you would on a real day before doing it again.
After all the guns have shot the first drive twice the guns return to the lodge or our new 11's cabin for a quick drink and some refreshments.
Following 11's the team then shoot a second drive. As with the first drive this is shot twice as the line of guns rotates.
After the second drive the team return to the lodge for lunch.
Following lunch the team of sixteen is split down in to 4 groups of 4 guns. 2 teams go to a drive of the groups choice whilst the other 2 go to one of our other drives, again chosen by the group All four teams then shoot a 150 bird flush which is scored.
Following the flush competition the team returns to the lodge for afternoon tea and the prize giving. after which guns depart Raisthorpe having a had a fantastic day! This is usually around 4.30 - 5.00pm.
